Dear members of forum,
this is my first post on the forum. I am new in mining. I want to buy A11-1500 or L7-9.16 or Z15. ROI and time of delivery is similar for all miners. Do you have same advice?
Thanks.
In my opinion I would go for L7 if it would be my decision. Most likely I will be buying one in early 22.
Not sure what is your reference price for Z15 but I am getting longer ROI on Z15 vs the other two options. I just did a quick calculation not considering kw consumption so this could make a difference.
For A11 I think ROI is bit too long for ETH uncertainty moving to POS, I think you can still mine other coins once ETH is POS but I am not sure what would be return on those.
Just my 5 cents
Thanks for advice, I don’t believe that eth will move to POS. Also, i am thinking of waiting for the new Goldshell models
Yes 6 series could be interesting, let’s see what they are coming with.
I am also hesitating to buy some ETH miner but to keep exposure low I will probably go with iPollo V mini for around 4.5 k USD and take the risk of ETH moving or not to POS. Maybe 2 of them
over 25 k for A11 sounds quite risky to me, but again it is about personal preference.
L7 have problems with delivery, A11 with POS, Z15 is little old, bobcat 300 6 mounts delivery time, D7 long ROI. All choses have different problems.
What are your energy requirements? The Z15 is only 1520 watts, the L7 is 3425. If you have high electricity rates and/or power restrictions, the Z15 is very energy efficient. By the way, the Z15e, is not energy efficient and don’t confuse that with the Z15 which is over double the profitability on the same power wattage.
I do not have power restriction, and my electricity rate is 0.11$.
As you correctly mentioned one has to consider all the factors, but I would avoid confusing power consumption with efficiency. There are many variables like network difficulty and rate of coin vs Fiat or USD, but if you get 80 USD from 3425 W or 20 USD from 1520 W there is still more efficiency in L7.
From this perspective A11 is the winner from proposed list.
What about buying several L3 or L3 +
Or multiple doge miner mini for a NOOB?
Efficiency is very low and will have very short life span vs more expensive miners for the same coin
What you think about Jasminer X4-C 1U. Looks very efficient. Do you have experience with Jasminer and Jingle mining?
