Wow its so Cool how much

A lot. Probably more correctly a lot more than a lot.

Sphere 3D bought 60k units at $1.7 billion ($28.3k each) per NuMiner’s FAQ. So retail likely would be $40k+ if they sell direct. $50k+ in the hands of resellers

Never mind, I also found this

Appears that retail per unit will be $45.3k

This is why your common folks won’t never make much mining. They will run them a year, run the difficulty way up, something bigger and better will come out they will sell them to a Chinese warehouse for what they bought them for so they can sell them for double to the general public. Then install the more efficient machines and continue to push the difficulty up while some poor person takes his life’s savings buys one and tries to pay for a worn out machine that’s becoming less profitable everyday. That’s my observation…lol

vosk just made a video saying these were a scam

I saw that. Yikes. Did seem a bit over the top in terms of hashrate vs energy consumption.

That said, I’m not in the industry (hardware/semiconductors) so I’ve no idea whether Bitmain is at the bleeding edge or whether there’s room for a new competitor to leap frog the technology

Add some Mountain Dew coolant to this and . . . presto! You’d have a NuMiner NM440!

Its a biggest scam of this year so far, yet a lot of people are falling for it for some reason.

Please read the facts, it doesn’t match the reality…
