Older machines still making money?

I’m curious if anyone is still using machines from 2 years ago that is still making them a descent profit. If so, what machine is it? And is the newer machines taking away from the older machines making good profits?

I notice most seem to be wanting the newest machine on the market and they typically sell out fast. But they won’t start making a profit for at least year or more. So that is why I ask.

Its all about electricity costs. Use Whattomine site to determine if a particular miner will be profitable where you are. Just plug in your electrical cost. Where I was even s 14.5 th S9 was profitable with my electrical costs at .045/kwh. But then some bored gopnik started dropping bombs on my city.
