Looking to pick up a complete set up within the next two months. The current set up I am eyeballing is a C6 with 6 L9s running inside of it. However I’m trying to make it Completely solar powered. Because of this I have been trying to kind the exact wattage it would need to be powered but I have had no luck finding exact numbers online. I was trying to accommodate for lack of fans and more efficiency since they will be in a C6. I also would like to connect the C6 to solar. If anyone knows the hourly wattage used by the entire set up or could at least guide me in the right direction that would be very much appreciated. Thank you
Hey mate is this grid tied solar? If you so need to get an estimate of how much your miners will use annually and get a solar system that will produce that much. Example, not sure the exact power consumption but if an L9 does 3.5kw and you have 6 then you will run 21kw, not sure how much the C6 tank uses but say its 2kw, so you’d use 23kw 24/7, so you’d need a solar system that can produce 202MW a year in your area. Bitmain has the exact numbers of power on their website and im sure foghash could tell you exactly the same with their unit, and solar will depend on your location, direction its facing etc and the only people who will give you accurate information on that is local solar installers. I appreciate it thank you. I was trying to stay off grid but I might not have a choice. I found all the wattage number on the websites. Just wasn’t sure if removing all the fans on each miner would make a difference or not
