Power Supply for a couple of FutureBit Apollo BTC Miner

I am getting two FutureBit Apollo BTC Miner, one that is a “full node” and the other that has a “standard” USB controller. I will use the full node to control the “standard” via the USB, which should work pretty turnkey. Both have a power requirement of 200 Watts, and while FutureBit does offer individual power supplies for them for $ 100 each ($ 75 if bundled with the order), I thought I’d be better off buying a single power supply that could power both units. While not disclosed, the FutureBit power supplies are implied to be at least 250 Watts, as they recommended that any third party power supply be rated as at least 250 watt.

The little bit of research I have done indicates that having a power supply that is roughly twice the size of what you need will allow it to operate more efficiently, quieter, and long lasting.

I think each of the Apollo BTC miners will need two 6 Pin PCIE connector, so my power supply will need at least four 6 Pin PCIE connectors.

Initially I’ll be plugging this into a standard US 110V outlet in my living room, eventually, after getting my feet wet on these “hobby” miners, I plan to put in some 220 V outlets in my garage (and ethernet ports) to support a larger miner, so I’d like any power supply I get for the Apollo BTC to support both 110V and 220V. As they will be starting out in my living room, I hope the power supplies will be on the quiet side.

Here is a link to what I have ordered.

Any suggestions most welcome.
