Question about BTCV2 Pofitablity?

Hello All,

I’m just getting into Crypto and while i was looking at some Calculators I’m seeing this BTCV2 for SHA256 that’s supposedly making 320 dollars a day with a 100TH/s (not calculating power consumption). I have a solar farm that I’m going to use for mining.

I’m trying to figure out if this is legit.

thanks in advance for your insights!

I noticed those top two just popped up on miner stat in the last 2 weeks. Has anyone used them? I see them disappear and come back. Sometimes with a warning saying unrealistic, low volume, etc.

I feel like it can’t be real, or at least not to scale.

Hey guys im also looking into this so far myself, same i feel stumped on it…curious what input the community has to share.

I do not think this is real. Is there any pool mining this coin? Minestat sucks while for the past 2 weeks the site claims these numbers and no one is really able to mine this coin. So their stats are fake.

Ive come across information that it is on binance pool i believe so…

I have seen this about binance also but there is no mention in their website and no way to mine this coin. If someone knows how please share.

I have looked into this and read about it. BTCV came about in 2019 and apparently got hit with a 51% attack. To negate this they decided to go ahead and mine it centrally and privately. Recently, in the past 4 months they have opened this up to BTC.com and Binance to do private mining where they know they won’t get attacked. They said later on they will slowly start to roll out more mining to other communities and that should be completed by 2024. From my understanding there is not an opportunity for anyone of us to mine BTCV2 and unless one of the major pools is allowed to do it and makes it public then we won’t see it happening anytime soon.

where did you see this information

Access the site via VPN that is if you are in the USA.
Still looking into whole thing…hmm looks profitable like crazy, but what is the catch??? :man_shrugging:
I cant say for sure is in mining by our own hardware or it looks more to be cloud mining, through mining city…

Let me know what you come across.
