Does anyone know if a GPU will work with the fan removed without spoofing it? I was thinking about running a rig in electrocool immersion and seeing how much they can be overclocked.
Yes, it will work fine without the fan attached. Removing the fan and outer casing also gives the added benefit of preserving more space.
I saw this on one of Redpandamining’s videos where he removed the fans so that all his gpus could fit in the server case he had gotten.
