If I buy a mini doge miner and go out of town and it goes offline? Can I restart it remotely or do I need to be there on person to get it back online?
As long as all it requires is a power reset, you could probably get away with trying one of these smart plugs. But to configure anything inside the graphic user interface, I’m not sure if there’s a way. Perhaps if you have a computer on and you have remote access to this Workstation, you could control your desktop from wherever you are as long as you have access.
I mean these look pretty straightforward. There’s literally a kid doing something there in the picture. Seriously if all you had to do was turn it off and back on to get it up and running again this could probably work, although I would not use it with anyting high-powered, that had to run 24/7.
One mini Doge Miner, probably not a big deal. Don’t quote me on any of it because I’m not an electrician.

i use google remote desktop to access my asic miners from my smartphone. As long as you have a computer on the network in the house that you can use to connect to via google remote desktop. You can access the web interface remotely.
That’s a great idea and the specs show those are good up to 10 amps but I’d stay under 8 or 9 amps continuous. 1 mini-doge is 2 amps. So you could run up to 4 on one of these. Plenty.
Also take into consideration, the fact that because you will be away from this setup for extended time while on vacation, If something were to go wrong then I guess you could watch on your security cam but there would not be much you could do about it. Stay safe and happy mining.
Exactly what I do.
I use remote view app to control my computer from my phone. I also use a remote power outlet to reset from my phone if I need to rest everything. Mini has a bad issue with over heating and having to be rest every few days. I run my minis from my WiFi route to my 8 port switch no prob. Good luck!!!
