I am mining a lot of different cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin BTC, Ethereum Classic ETC, Kadena KDA, Nervos Network CKB, Handshake HNS, on several mining pools like viabtc, dxpool, slushpool or now braiins pool, f2pool, and more! I don’t have the best electricity rate, and there are a lot of more efficient mining rigs coming out that put some of my miners to shame like the Goldshell mini doge miner is outclassed by the Bitmain Antminer L7 many of the Kadena ASIC miners and CKB mining rigs are about to be dominated by the new Bitmain Antminers like the KA3 and K7! Anyway, let’s review my real-world mining profitability and if I am actually earning money mining or just wasting my electricity!

One thing that might help you with lowering your latency to Dxpool and therefore better results is to check what POP your starlink is connected to. Is all of Dxpool servers based in Asia? Because let’s say the POP you are connected to is east of where you are located, but your internet is travelling west to connect to Dxpool then it’s extra latency for nothing because it’s heading east and then west. There is a website that tells you what pop you are connected to so if there is a close POP west of you then you can contact starlink and request them to change your pop to that one. I’ve had starlink for 18 months and my POP is 800 miles away for an average of 40ms of latency. For example myself my old internet provider I used to get 140ms latency to Asia from central Australia because my internet used to travel east and then head north but I got a good VPN in Perth (west Australia) so I would connect to that and then it would head north and I would get 90ms latency to Asia and sometimes as low as 80ms. Hope this helps
