Turning on and off miners at certain times?

Wondering if I can get some help here, I have 5 asic miners, the problem is my electricity rate is high during the day time but really low during night time. So basically from 10am-10pm I paying close to 18kwa but from 10pm-10am I am only paying 3kwa.

Is there any software or recommendation on how to set these up to turn on and off at those time.

Any solution or recommendation will be really appreciated

Thanks

If ever need a host my buddy @AdamMoyers can get you at $0.09

I have 3 rates here. I only run the S19 23:00-07:00 when the power is 11c NZD (6c USD).
I use WiFi smart plugs in that use the Tuya SmartLife system. Not sure where in the world you are, but there are squillions of them on AliExpress or your local hardware store. I use these, as they have energy metering which I document for claiming the power back on tax:

For the S19 - it is 3KW, but these are only rated to 2.6KW. So I have one for each power input. They are set to copy the state of the other one. So if I turn one on, the other one turns on so the S19 doesn’t have only one socket powered.
Same with the timer. I have it set to turn one on, wait 1 second, then turn the other one on.

I’ve got 6 of these switches. 2 for the s19. then I have Goldshells and small iPollos spread around all on different schedules, and all logging their power usage for the tax man. I can also turn miners on or off from my phone from anywhere, which is handy I guess.

Yeah same as eeknz I have Grid connect powerboards, heaps of functions you can use. Like if you have your location set you can have IF WEATHER=SUNNY=ON and things like that its real neat and if Power plug 1 = on, turn on power plug 2. and of course turn on and off at specific times. I have them both as wall sockets and power boards.

Thanks for your replies, I am located in the US. I have these units connected directly to the panel so I don’t have a plug, I am assuming I gonna have to separate the panels to plugs and then plug these units in to those. Does anybody know of any electricity panels that might have this feature or going plug by plug is the best solution right now?

I was going to suggest just using a standard outlet timer.
Seeing you say you power directly from the panel makes me think of this bad daddy.

but that is a greenhouse version link to product

But that is the jest of it. They have hard wired models for cheaper. If you go with something like this I recommend the dual trigger type that allows you to set two different timers for output. I’m pretty sure you can find a cheaper and better model more geared towards your goals. Greenhouse junk tends to have bumped prices.

Making sure you miners re-connect upon start-up is another little battle. They sell these little item… I don’t even know what they are called “restart relay” maybe. It’s a USB stick that you plug into a usb on a comp then wire over to the power boards of each miner. If the Miner fails to connect (and start returning hashes) after X amount of minutes, the relay things restarts the setup. It does take a comp along side the ASIC, but that item is on Amazon for like 20 bucks.
and… of course I can not find it on Amazon (where I bought it) , so here is a picture of this mythical part , lol

To say again, both of these items do not fit the bill, exactly. but they are in the ball park of meeting the demands we look for.

Not too sure what you mean by that - but if you have a DIN rail panel and your panels work like the bit’s of the world I do know about - you could have your brekers changed out for Shelly WiFi ones.

Thank you all for your input, I am going to try the wifi breakers and I let you know how it works out. I will keep you posted. As for the restart of the ASICS, I will try without the wire for now that was suggested above but if it does not work out I will be looking for that wire…. Lol

Only question is can 1 pC control all miners or I need a Pc for each miner?

Thanks afain
