Hi everyone, new to asic mining, watched several voskcoin you tube videos and really learned a lot. So I just got my first miners. They are both LB1 units by goldshell, but one is a Voskcoin special edition. I had some issues setting them up because I am running windows 11. The drivers aren’t available for windows 11, so I found one for windows 10 and it finally recognized the miner. Once I started mining I realized that one of the units wasn’t recognized. I had both plugged into the USB 3.1, I switched one to a usb 3.0 and instantly recognized. Hope this helps some people that have USB hook-up miners.
most of their miners do a bit over spec. that way they always look good. . also those are gonna be a long time before they make any significant amount of money. but good luck.
Yes, even at the rate they are going, the price I paid for them, they will be making me profit after 4 months. I got them for a really good price, and I have really cheap electric rate. I am going to see how well dxpool pays, and if I am not happy, will switch to viabtc and mine there, but have it converted to etherium or some other crypto
dxpool seems to be the higher payout (slightly) but most likely you are going to exchange it for another crypto anyways, so you might as well use viabtc to do payouts in another coin. of course thats just my opinion.
Thanks, yes I was going to use viabtc, but for some reason I can’t connect to the pool. Dx is the only one that I could get it to connect to and mine properly. Not sure if it is a firmware issue or what. So I figured I will mine there, plus the fees are cheaper on dx than the other pools. Will definitely be withdrawing and converting eventually
