Are There Any Verified Sellers on VoskcoinTalk?

Waiting for that answer too. Just keep seeing these salty gruff “defenders” pop onto conversations that just joined on Dec 8 saying we are stupid for questioning. Anyone who doesn’t start asking questions after 3 weeks is stupid. If it is a scam i will pull out ALL the stops to get my money back !! I haven’t gotten jack yet … ordered over 3 weeks ago … time to get a new Chinese supplier … they are crappy !

Who did you order from?

I have not gotten mine yet but I ordered them a week and half ago. Before I order from master3004 I did a ton of research on his post and a few verified people have vouched for Steven saying they have bought and received thier items.

Once I receive my miners I will post photos and give my unbiased response.

Master3004 , I’m sure I’ll get another abusive post response because I dare bring it up again … I’m sorry but it’s not normal at all. I’ll feel alot better if someone can give details just like joejoe did with his experience at goldshell ( delivery times , processing times etc)

I’ll do the same

Yeah it’s scary when your dealing with people you don’t know and sending bitcoin that’s hard to get back.

Just to update, I bought a “used” one back on Dec 3rd and haven’t heard anything yet. I will update this post with updates as I get them.

Hey Cryptominernv, since you brought up the subject, what process do you put your used or refurbished miners through.?
If you have a thread where you describe this just point me to it so I can do my due diligence.
This is just a question, I am interested in buying an ASIC.
Peace

Guys sorry to say but I am really enjoying this discussion
I think that some people should calibrate a bit that you are buying miners not a bread and there is shortage due to various reasons like chip shortage, raw material unavailability, logistics problems. Automotive OEMs are stopping production lines cause they are not able to get electronic components and they are ready and willing to spend extra millions to get them and they just can’t. Another problem are all people who had no idea crypto existed before and when they have seen Vosk videos on youtube that this or that miner is making XXX USDs / day they just jump on FOMO without having any idea what they are doing and from what I see they just don’t even spend time to try to learn and understand how it works, what is difficulty what is influencing profits they just want to buy miner have it next day and start making millions  I have seen people watching old video assuming that actual profitability is the same as it was months ago. Unfortunately you need or luck or patience. It is also not fair to compare buying miners which are mining BTC vs KDA or miners which are highly profitable vs miners with comparative low profitability. You can get BTC miner pretty much everywhere and you can most likely get it within week or two depending on the model (This will for sure change if BTC will sky rocket) but KDA miners or highly profitable miners in general are currently all sold out (yes big contribution from all people late to the party with FOMO) and you can get them directly from manufacturer in some cases like Bitmain, Goldshell or DX Pool shop to mention some of them if you are lucky - famous drops or from re-sellers who have direct access to manufacturers and are able to pre-order them and are selling it based on it’s profitability setting price in range of 10-12 months of ROI. I sorry to tell you but there is no-stock waiting for your order if you are looking for highly profitable miner these days. Even re-sellers are getting limited quantities and are waiting for production batches and delivery. So if you order from Master3004 who is acting as your link to supplier in China or any other Tier1, Tier2 or TierX re-seller you have to wait for Tier1 re-seller to get it from manufacturer before they can ship it to you. There is lead-time uncertainty and nobody can tell you with 100% confidence when will your miner be shipped. I was not ordering from Master3004 but I did order from several re-sellers in China and process is pretty much the same as Master3004 described + I had to wait for miners which are not in stock. I am not defending sellers / re-sellers here and I agree that things should be communicated / clarified properly before purchase but please avoid assumptions that people know level of your knowledge cause if you are not sure ask before you buy. Sellers who are in the business for quite long will not ask every customer if he know how it works in this business. If you spend time and you found some replies from people who got their miners from some sellers on this forum you will most likely get yours as well. Sorry for writing this but I see people are having unrealistic expectations just cause they are not aware how it works in this business…

Just commenting to get updates, I have never ordered from this guy.

To add my experience with just purchasing a Goldshell X5 and two ST-Boxes from Newegg this month on Dec. 1st. One ST-Box arrived in 5 days by DHL (express shipping $50) and the other ST-Box and the X5 looked like they shipped but were lost. I started the refund process with Newegg. What Newegg and other reviews online shared was that some sellers will give you a fake tracking number to make it look like the package shipped, but in reality, the seller is just stalling and using your money to buy the in-stock miner from their supplier in China so they don’t have to maintain inventory. My lesson learned was to reach out to the seller and ask them if the miner is actually in-stock in their office and if it’s not, it’s going to be weeks, not days to get your miner. Newegg’s shipping policy states all in-stock items must be shipped within 3 business days.

Newegg started the refund process which includes sending an e-mail to the seller listing the store policy on shipping with-in 3 business days and magically, the seller e-mailed back saying he would ship the miners and I would receive them by December 20th. The items were shipped DHL international express for free on December 15th from Hong Kong, and I actually received the miners on the 17th, 3 days earlier (Friday instead of Monday). So 2-day shipping from Hong Kong to California is pretty quick!

So bottom line, very little is in-stock (ready to be shipped same day) at the stores were shopping at, even Goldshell states up to 10 days to ship in-stock items. So if you really want your miner with-in 7 days, it must be in-stock and ready to ship and international express shipping express times from my experience takes 2-5 days depending on customs.

Sellers: 1) RS Miner - Goldshell ST-Box (quick - 5 days to receive from Hong Kong)
2) Co-tech Digital Mall Store & Antpower Store (Slow - 18 days to receive from Hong Kong)

Ha ha. Joined Dec 8 so you obviously know the “plenty of people”. Yeah like we said, we want to talk to the actual people who have received miners from the different sellers and their suppliers.

You are no help at all

Have you looked at the vosk discord? I have seen people vouch for him over there.

The problem with people vouching for sellers is when you look at the length of time on the actual Discord, or formum. Most of these people have never actually received anything, they just say they trust him or her. When digging deeper, most people that are vouching for sellers have almost no interaction in the communities, and have accounts that are just recently activated

I only want to keep the community safe. My plan is, once I actually receive a miner….or not …. To do a full review. To explain the processes from the sellers I have worked with, what I have learned, and expectations of times.

It’s sad that I have to do this bc this should come from the sellers, but obviously needs to be done as I’ve had about seven people now reach out to me in private messages with questions and concerns themselves

It would be great if buyers can take a picture of what they received from their supplier. Maybe put the seller’s name (vosk forum username) on piece of paper and take a picture of some sort…

@cryptominernv I will do this on my end

I’ve had numerous people message me as well asking about several sellers on here. I just give them my experience and opinion and hopefully it helps. It would be cool if the sellers got permission from the buyers to list them as a reference if the buyer is OK with being mentioned. Some buyers might not want to, but that’s OK, those ones don’t have to be listed.
