Yeah, it is terrifying. Of all the cryptocurrency idea’s the FED or reserve’s have take from crypto is to print unlimited tokens that represent nothing. Not the part where BTC has real fair value globally or is governed and hosted publicly.

My real fear is not so much the gov going digital (they’d run out of paper and tree’s eventually anyways) but the future idea’s they will spread. Once a Gov system is fully functionable, they will then draw a line in the sand between the good-legal crypto and the Unregulated-dangerous crypto. Of course we all engage in crypto knowing this already, but that line has been getting blurry. The average new crypto holder post 2021 is not fully aware that they are defunding their own nations by participating. Crypto miners see where their value comes from, trader’s not so much.
