Yeah, the KD5 is horrible
Looks like its an issue between KD5’s and Hashpool. Careful about reloading previous firmware. I’ve been told that it can go bad. So if you decide to see if previous firmware versions reduce the rejections rates, do so at your own risk.
We fully understand if you dont want to take the risk.
I’ll let Hashpool know that there seems to be an issue with KD5’s and their pool…

I took the risk and downgraded my KD box to firmware 2.1.1.
It has been hashing away for 5 hours and it’s rejection rate is currently 1.4%. It has been slowly going up though. So time will tell where it steadies out at.
But thus far it seems to have less rejections compared to when my KD box had the 2.1.3 firmware,(it’s rejection rate was 5%).
This is mining from Hashpool.

Day 2 of Hashpool. located in Midwest. first day was like .6 for a day. Luck has been low so far, when I first joined, it was at 58, now around 80
@SpragClutch I was getting 0.67 average twice daily the last week of a Poolflare. I’m surprised you got less than .6 the last two payments.
24 hrs now on Hashpool with the kd-box and am getting about 2% rejection. Perfectly acceptable. If we can now just get a handle on kd5 rejection…

It seems that Hashpool is shy to show some love today with luck of 30% so far.
Yesterday was not so bad, but it is variation we were expecting. . . let’s see how the day will close.

2.41 TH/s. I guess my KD-Box ate it’s Wheaties this morning. Luck dropping is concerning.

Its been a day since rolling back my KD box to firmware 2.1.1 and its reject rating is currently 2.24%.
So it is looking like Firmware 2.1.1 is better for KD boxes on hashpool than firmware 2.1.3.
Hashpools luck dropping is to be expected. Right now I’m happy to stick it out for a month. No other real way to determine if Hashpool is any good or not with such low hashrates…
I’m going to take a break from voskcoin.
But, I’ll be back in 28 days with detailed results from my KD box mining from Hashpool!

I might be willing to try it out with 2x K1+ from the east coast to see what the rejects are like and of course, help with the overall cause - seems worthy! I’ll let you know when I plug in.

My KD-Box hasn’t mined anything all day. Went to Hashpool and they haven’t found a block in over 4.5 hrs. ugh.
I’m feeling it too! Luck is Way Low right now.
If love you jump in but I ordered a KD Box on Dec 8th and I am being told another three weeks before it’s shipped.
I sent the email to 2miners on a few topics including KDA mining!! I think if we all reach out, they may put their foot on the gas!!

I have found if you are having runaway error rates restart the miner. This happens to me on dxpool. I am on the east coast.
Everyone with a KDA miner, should email 2miners to ask if they will open a kda pool. This would be incredible news if 2miners is able to do this soon! Thanks all
