@SUNYNKA are you still running the 2.0.2 firmware on your MiniDoge? I am expecting delivery of another batch and wondering whether I should downgrade right out of the box.
Yes, I still got Firmware version 2.0.2 and itās still running solid!
Iāve read your experience @SUNYNKA, and I think I should downgrade my miner to 2.0.2. It came with 2.0.3 installed and after a few weeks of running it now dies after 3 days. How do I downgrade to 2.0.2? Where is the 2.0.2 firmware version for me to load into the miner?
Also, do you have any tips on how to not make the miner stop? I read above that one guy changed the firmware and his mini doge miner stopped working for a while until he was able to fix it. Iād like to prevent if possible.
Hey there,
You can find it here.
I have 4 Mini-DOGE running for 30+ days on 2.1.2 with no problems or stopping.
you should down- or upgrade your minidoge away from 2.0.3.
either as per abobe link from @SUNYNKA or go to the official Goldshell side, there to suport, software, get the latest version ⦠if you check the folders for will also find the archive.
dont interrupt the device while update is running.
you may have to search again for the IP after the upgrade.
@JoeJoe, where can I find 2.1.2 version? Do I need to ask Goldshell support for this version or is it on the web and I havenāt found it yet?
2.1.2 is the version mine came with but looks like the latest is now 2.1.3. Iād install the latest if I were you unless that version is causing problems. If you really want 2.1.2 thereās an Archive folder at the top of the GitHub link @SUNYNKA posted above. You can download older versions there.
Is on this list, you have to search for it. It can also be done on the previous link I posted, but you can find it here.
Had same issue with my kd box. Contacted goldshell support and they sent me a replacement. It hasnāt arrived yet, but I believe the replacement is probably a hashboard. All I needed to do was to provide them my serial number and qr code along with screenshots and pay for shipping fee related to parts
Did Goldshell have you do any trouble shooting? if so what did they have you do?
Iām trouble with inactvity.
input was helpful I tried the hard reset and reset the ip address aswell but had no luck.
Have you came across a Goldshell that become inactive after 15 minutes?
I have upgraded the Firmware version2.2.1 Hardware version 30.40.A6
Upgraded firmware successfully, change power cord, change PDU power cord.
, Restarted 3 times, change Pool setting several times, change network cable,
and It still become inactive after 15 minutes.
It states (Miner pool is not ready yet) would you know what else I can try?
Greatly appreciate any help. Thanks
I have tried:
f2pool
hns.ss.dxpool.com:3008
hns.ss.dxpool.com:3009
I have heard about the .net but I did not see it as an option.
hns.ss.dxpool.net:3008 not sure if this was some time of scam
I can try a different
I just change it to this pool and see what happens next.

Thanks for your input
No change they become inactive.
Not sure whatās going on with this machine.
Started new Pool at 3:58 Pm Sunday urkel.com:3288
I wonder if it is some type of security setting with your router? Really not sure what else to suggest. Reach out to mfr tech support for best options. @ez4009
I have checked the firewall, modem everything looks good. I checked the firewall status.
Packet filter on
IP passthrough is off
NAT Default Server I just turn on to see if it made a difference, (did not)
firewall advance is on
I took the power supply unit off and measured the volts NONE I had the power cable connected to the PDU Tripp-Lite straight to the Power unit of the Goldshell and it showed no power.
So I check the power cord from the (Tripp-Lite PDU) and it registered 240 and then I tested it to the other power leg and it registered 121.
It must be the GH power supply unit is bad.
The funny thing is that the GS unit turns on and I can see it on the network and the fans are blowing and what not.
So Iām sending pic to GS support and see what they say.
IF you guys can think of something else let me know.
Thanks.
Mr. EZ
