ok, after many days of no contact, myrig is now holding my repaired l3+ boards hostage.
i was given an invoice stating the repair costs came to $140 in equivalent bitcoin. So I paid the invoice total, Now myrig is telling me the payment came up short. I’m asking them what short? the invoice clearly stated x bitcoin due, I paid x bitcoin. and now they dump this bs on me.
Gotta wonder if the Colorado Attorney General, BBB, Chamber of Commerce and any one else I can find will step in for wire fraud or whatever you care to label this scam
Could you share some emails, screenshots, invoices, bank transactions etc anything to back up your claim?
A snapshot of the blockchain transaction should be enough as proof
Minus network fees were you short?
no, the invoice said pay x amt in btc and that’s what i paid.
Finally after filing complaints and inquiries from the Federal and State Atty General, Consumer Protection Agency, the BBB and the Chamber of Commerce, MyRig decided to ship the 2 repaired hash boards. The 3rd board so they claim was non repairable even though it was partly working when sent in for repair.
I find this trend concerning since it seems for every 3 boards sent in only 2 are “repairable”.
Anyway, I’m done with this poorly run Russian owned company. Since most of the world is sanctioning Russia, I see no reason not to follow their lead.
Sorry to hear about your bad experience!
How did you find them originally? Is there a website we all should be aware of so we can stay away from these crooks?
