Repair Shops in the USA

I have a bunch of T17s that have hash card issues. 0 to 24 asic or eprom issues.

Any recommendations on a repair shop? I had a shop in china that has recently become a ghost.

Compass says they are too busy and only working on their machines. HM tech wants a moq of 25 machines. Great Voyage wants $50 shipping per card!! Many of the other places I look up seem fake.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!!

I hope someone has an answer to this. I have 6 S9J cards that have at least 5 bad chips each. Be nice to restore those hash cards back to 63 running chips.

wish i could share some good news but every single repair shop I’ve used has issues. it’s either they lie to you, never reply to emails, are out of stock for replacement parts, or just plain steal from you. as some one put it, it’s the wild wild west. expect to be robbed and raped.

Can you name some of these bad players? That way me and Miner 388 dont fall in their trap?

I live close to hmtech, maybe if we get a few more repairs together we could meet the moq

Well have a functional shop sometime in March. I was hoping for February, but its a bit more complicated than I first though.

There is a certification process for technicians, done by each manufacturer. Takes quite a bit of time and a lot of money. You need this certification to order parts from the manufacturer. So when looking for a shop ask for proof of this certificate.

Good to know-that you will have one and what it takes. I know several instrument techs from work and was just going to buy the beer and invite them over

There is a company in colorado “myrig” that has reasonable prices that you might want to check out.
